At about 7:45 AM on Tuesday, March 7, 2017, officers responded to a call for a person stabbed in the area of 66 Hartford Street in Dorchester. On arrival, officers located the 35 year old male victim suffering from an apparent stab wound. The Brendan Tahatdil was transported to an area hospital where he was later pronounced deceased. According to the Boston Police Department, Desmond Tahatdil, 55, who is the father of the victim, is under suspicion. The Boston Police Department is now seeking the public’s help in an effort to locate Desmond Tahatdil. As per the BPD , Desmond Tahatdil, who has ties to New York, is described as a black male, 5’8” tall, weighing approximately 175 lbs. They have also released his picture which can be found below. Filed under: Reporter's Notebook Boston’s Roxbury neighborhood loses another teenager to gun violence Posted Feb. 22, 2017, 9:03 a.m. by Priyanka Ketkar | View Comments A 19-year-old was shot to death on Dudley Street at Albion on Tuesday evening, as per police reports. At around 5:10pm, on Tuesday, February 21, 2017, officers responded to a call for a person shot in the area of Dudley and Albion Streets in Roxbury. On arrival, officers located the 19-year-old Justin Depina suffering from what appeared to be a gunshot wound. Justin was then transported to Boston Medical Center where he later succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased. Victim Justin Depina Police were on the scene investigating but no arrests have been made yet. The Boston Police Department is actively reviewing the facts and circumstances surrounding this incident. Filed under: Reporter's Notebook Young woman shot minutes before Super Bowl Posted Feb. 6, 2017, 10:33 a.m. by Priyanka Ketkar | View Comments On the eve of Super Bowl when Boston was preparing for the unexpected, a young woman was shot to death minutes before the game. The police who responded to a radio call around 6pm of a possible shooting at Juliette Street in Dorchester, found two injured people at the crime scene. A teenager, injured due to some flying glass due to the impact of the shooting and a young female in her 20s who was shot in the head, were found at the crime scene. Both the victims were transported to the Boston Memorial Hospital but the female victim was declared deceased at the hospital. The police later identified the female victim as one Brianna Hardy. Brianna Hardy aka Breezy Brianna Hardy, 22, who was a rapper known as Breezy, was in her car when she was shot in the head, in what the police are calling a targeted” fatal shooting. Hardy’s death is the forth homicide this year. Her death marks one of city’s rare female homicides. According to the police, of the 44 homicides in 2016, only three victims were female. Upon arrival, officers located an adult male victim in his 40’s suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. He was pronounced deceased on scene. Boston Police are investigating on the crime scene at 31 Regina Road The Boston Police are now on the scene, looking into the death and they have now confirmed that this death was a homicide. On arrival, officers located a male victim in his twenties suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. The victim, identified as Jovani Devon Jeudy, was shot in the evening and was pronounced deceased at the scene. Jovani leaves behind his twin brother Jamalh Jeudy, his sister Abagail Thomas, his brother Tony-Jose Morgan and his parents - Jean Jeudy and Daphne Firmin . Visitation will be on Feb. 3 at George Lopes Funeral Home in Mattapan, followed by a funeral Mass on Feb. 4 at St. Angela Parish in Mattapan. Khisean Desvarieux The shooting occurred on Dearborn Street at around 7:27 p.m. Monday, near a community center that houses the BoysGirls Club’s Orchard Gardens Club. When the officers arrived on the scene, they located a 19-year-old male victim suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. He was transported to an area hospital where he was later pronounced deceased. The victim was identified as Khisean Desvarieux. As per a Globe report , witnesses declined to give their names out of fear but described that the five gunshots sounded like 4th of July”. Several messages have been left for Desvarieux by friends and family on Facebook One message reads as,I knewworked with the kid. He’s was cool, it’s a damn shame bro. My condolences go out to his family and friends. ” No arrests have been made so far and no information has been made available on the possible motive behind this violence.
